The University of Tennessee is very diverse, but I have seen my fair share of students’ lazy day outfits and they tend to have a recurring theme: T-shirts and shorts. While there is nothing wrong with lazy day ensembles, it is refreshing to find a Fashionisto whose outfit is as bold as his personality. This Fashionisto stepped out on campus with a look that is perfect for the temperatures that Rocky Top is experiencing now. The cooler mornings call for long sleeves, while the afternoons give you the chance to finalize the use of those summer pieces. Even though most guys do not worry about what accessories enhance their outfit, this Fashionisto did it in all of the right ways on top of keeping his color scheme consistent.

CF: Who are your style icons and why?
SH: I look to Pharrell most often. He always shows his style with creativity and professionalism. I also follow Tyler the Creator because he has a wild style that I like.
CF: What is your go-to piece in your wardrobe at the moment?
SH: I have a pair of multi-colored Crayola style Vans that are my favorites right now.
How To: Having the confidence to sport this bold outfit is the first element needed in recreating this look. Start building this look by finding a bright pair of Vans, and add your own personal flare when it comes to adding a unique pair of socks. I would search for a staple pair of shorts that can be a universal piece within your wardrobe. Next, find a patterned tee that makes people do a double take and make sure it fits your unique style. Finalize your look with accessories, such as a watch, necklace, bag or shades. Never hesitate to be bold and dress outside of your comfort zone.
