Fashionisto Spotlight

Spring is definitely in full swing with spring break finally under our belts! We have to start prepping for the Easter season and what better way to do that then with pastels! This is my favorite time of year because I finally get to whip out the Vineyard Vines blues and Lilly Pulitzer pinks! This Fashion does a superb job of creating the perfect transition from winter to spring.

Name: Chase Makowski

Major: Business Management

Year: Freshman

CollegeFashionista: Where is everything you’re wearing from?

Chase Makowski: My jeans are from PacSun, my button-up is from Banana Republic and my shoes are Polo Ralph Lauren.

CF: Where are you from?

CM: A small town outside of Scranton, Pennsylvania.

CF: How would you say that growing up in the Northeast has affected your style?

CM: Living in the Northeast has definitely taught me how to dress better for cold weather. I really like scarves, vests and a lot of other winter attire that people down south don’t have the opportunity to wear.

CF: If you could have any celebrities closet, which would it be?

CM: Ryan Gosling has really cool style, especially in Crazy, Stupid, Love.

CF: What article of clothing could you absolutely not live without?

CM: Haha as random as it sounds, my white Nike golf pants. I love to play golf and they are my lucky pair of pants.

How To: If you want to get this Fashionisto’s casual look you have to be sure to get a button up! Button-ups are my favorite look on guys and with the right pair of jeans they can be appropriate for any occasion from class to a date night. If you are looking for more of a casual look opt for a light wash pair of jeans and if you want to dress it up a bit, go with the dark wash.
