In this tundra we call Syracuse, New York, everything is either frozen or snow-covered. No, literally everything is covered head to toe in white snow. The closest things we get to seeing color are students’ red noses and purple lips from walking across campus. Isn’t that such an attractive look? Not. I spotted a Fashionisto with an outfit full of fun pastel colors. I followed his fashionable tracks in the snow to ask him a few questions.
Name: Alex Constantino
CollegeFashionista: Where is your outfit from?
Alex Constantino: My hat and Shep shirt are both from Vineyard Vines, and my corduroys are Banana Republic. Oh and my glasses are Ray-Bans.
CF: How would you define your style?
AC: Growing up in a town close to Cape Code, Massachusetts has definitely influenced my style greatly. I would have to say my style is very nautical and some-what preppy. However I do also make it a point to keep it comfy and warm, during the cold winter.
CF: Is it important to look presentable or comfortable?
AC: I would have to say both, but it depends on the circumstances. If you are just going to the dining hall for Sunday brunch after a fun Saturday there is no need to dress up, sweat pants and hoodies are the way to go. However, if you are giving your final presentation, you should most definitely dress to impress, you never know you may receive some extra credit for looking sharp.
How To: To get this Fashionisto’s bright look, try a signature pony hat, by Polo Ralph Lauren and a nice pastel colored Vineyard Vines shep shirt. Finish off this look with a pair of Sperry Top-Siders and a nice pair of corduroy pants.
