It’s easy to get sick of seeing guys in gym shorts or sweats … even in mismatching clothes. Step up your game, gents! I can definitely say we all love a man with great style and this Fashionisto is a perfect of example. Pairing an easy to wear tri-blend long sleeve tee with a pair of blue chino shorts falling right above the knee, this Fashionisto takes a classically preppy look and gives it a little urban flair. The boat shoes allow for comfort but the canvas material and navy color make them unique. Adding bracelets and earrings to the outfit really showcases this Fashionisto’s cool one of a kind look.
Name: Aidan Young
Major: Media, Culture and Communication
CollegeFashionista: How would you describe your style as a whole?
Aidan Young: I would describe my style as dynamic. I don’t think my wardrobe fits into a specific style but I own clothes that let me be creative and express myself in a number of different ways depending on my mood on a given day. I like to see what I can get away with.
CF: If you could describe your look today in three words, what would they be?
AY: Casual, interesting and fun.
CF: What are some of the top stores you shop at?
AY: I love Topman and Zara when I can afford it. When I can’t, H&M and the sale section of ASOS usually have good finds.
CF: Does going to school in a major city have a lot of influence on your style?
AY: Going to school in the city definitely has influence on my style, mostly by making it comfortable to forge my own look. I get to be a little edgier than I might elsewhere. At the same time, New York is stressful because everyone’s in competition to stand out.
