Bring on the New Year with colorful clothes!
Although the usual trendy winter colors are normally plum and pumpkin, this Fashionista is shaking things up. Sometimes I get bored looking at the usual neutral colors that are spotted everywhere in stores. Especially with the weather being dull and cloudy it is nice to see a Fashionista add a touch of color to her wardrobe. For the upcoming exciting Christmas and New Years parties Fashionistas should try to stand out in the crowd and sport some neon yellow and electric blue outfits. I spotted this Fashionista walking through her neighborhood. She goes to Towson University in Maryland and had a literally brilliant ensemble.
Name: Shelby Roberts
Major: Elementary Education
CollegeFashionista: What do you think makes a great New Years outfit?
Shelby Roberts: Sequins and glitter! I am obsessed with both of those. For New Years Eve, you need to look your best and feel your best. What is better than adding a little glitter to your outfit to make you stand out.
CF: Do you have any special clothing items you want on your Christmas list?
SR: One item I want this christmas is a Stoosh Pindot Stud Blazer. It is very simple, but you can wear it to dress up any outfit. It is also very sleek and easy to throw on for the holiday season.
CF: What will you be wearing to your Christmas parties?
SR: You can not go wrong with the little black dress. I will be wearing a simple black dress with some added color in my jewelry. And of course, a pair of glitter heels.
How To: Shelby is wearing a sheer ruffle tan blouse. Add a sequined or printed blazer. On extra cold days layer with sweaters. Shelby pairs her outfit with bright coral jeans and black suede boots. Add dotted knee -highs with your boots. Most importantly finish this outfit with studded accessories, adding some edge and a satchel.
