There is nothing I love more than the clash between feminine and edgy. This Fashionista really knows how to rock a leather jacket and Peter Pan collar, which is not always easy to do. The entire ensemble is polished off with an incredible pair of combat boots. Folded down, you can see the white Aztec-inspired print, which adds a unique flair all its own.

CollegeFashionista: How would you describe your personal style?
Nicole Schiera: I would describe my personal style as comfy and minimalistic in that I'm usually wearing leggings or skinny jeans with a V-neck, while also including some current trends.
CF: What's your favorite winter outfit or accessory?
NS: My favorite new winter accessory, that I haven't had the chance to wear yet since it's been so nice outside, is my infinity scarf that I recently bought.
CF: How did you transition your wardrobe from fall to winter? What pieces did you add or remove?
NS: I seriously hate the cold, but living in Illinois I really have no choice but to endure it—so staying warm is key. My wardrobe in the winter has more of an emphasis on heavier coats, scarves, hats and fuzzy socks hidden under my boots. Pieces I have to unfortunately remove from my wardrobe are my fall favorites: moccasins and boat shoes.
CF: Which stores do you frequent the most? Why?
NS: I do the majority of my shopping at Forever 21, H&M, Zumiez and online stores such as Amazon or Urbanog. The store I'd say I shop at the most would be Forever 21 because they have really great basics for a reasonable price and basically everything else you could ever need.
How To: A great leather jacket is a cold weather staple every Fashionista needs in their closet. A white lace top is a crisp and clean look for winter. Combat boots like these are trendy and versatile. I’m sure you already have a great pair of skinny jeans but if not, a pair like these are a great winter staple. When you take off that leather jacket, a great bangle like this really ties the look together.
