As finals season descends upon the BC campus, yoga pants and sweatshirts become the norm as students crowd the library. But despite the climate of stress, this week’s Fashionista shows how comfortable and casual can still be stylish and playful. With a short, flattering silhouette, her green dress adds a touch of holiday cheer and a flirty feminine feel to the look. Pairing her girly dress with polished brown leather boots and a chunky gray sweater gives the look neutral and sophisticated touches. This Fashionista interprets the oversized trend well, using her sweater to add stylish warmth and a fun contrast to her form fitting dress. Additionally, she adds a pop of color and a boho edge with her printed scarf. With burnt orange, soft green and rich brown, this Fashionista creates an earthy palette that works with the cozy texture of her pieces to craft a look with a rustic chic vibe. This country feel makes for a unique and girly take on winter’s staple pieces.
