Name: Ty Strimbu

Year: Freshman

Major: Journalism

College Fashionista: Tell me about the outfit you picked out of your closet this morning and why?

Ty Strimbu: I woke up this morning and looked in my closet for something simple and flowy, which is perfect for the warm weather we had today! I threw on a pair of short boots to keep it casual.

CF: What is a trend you predict will be popular this spring 2014?
TS: This season color blocking simple but structured outfits will be in style. Black and white also seem to be popular this upcoming season.
CF: Who are some of your fashion icons and influences?
TS: I love Stella McCartney, Sam & Lavi and Bless’ed are the Meek. My favorite fashion blogger is Cara Loren.
CF: Can you describe your style?
TS: My style is chic, relaxed and simple.
CF: What is a purchase you’ve made that you will never regret?
TS: I would say either a classic chambray shirt, or a simple short-heeled boot

How To: Put together a simple and sweet ensemble like this Fashionista’s and look like a Fashionista on your way to class. Start with your favorite maxi dress and playing with knotting it up to show a little leg! A leather satchel can make all the difference. Invest in a quality bag that can last you a life-time. Complete your look with a chambray top on breezy days. Throw on a chambray in a light wash to keep your look fresh for the spring season!
