When snow begins to fall, all we want to do is curl up in bed with some hot cocoa and have a Netflix marathon of American Horror Story (or maybe that’s just me). Regardless, more often than not, snow falls on days when we have responsibilites and unfortunately we must venture out into the arctic and go about our duties. But this does not mean we aren’t allowed to feel cozy and comfortable like we’re curled up in bed. This Fashionista does exactly this while remaining put together and stylish with oversized everything and lots of warm sweater material during the holiday season.
Name: Tessa Trozzolillo
Major: Film and Television
CollegeFashionista: Tell me about what you’re wearing.
Tessa Trozzolillo: I’m wearing oversized jeans from Gap, a sweater from Urban Outfitters, a hat that I think is my brother’s and vegan Dr. Martens.
CF: How would you describe your personal style?
CF: What are you wearing a lot of right now?
TT: Sweaters, everyday!
CF: Where are your favorite places to shop in the city?
TT: Nordstrom, thrift stores… I really like Cure Thrift Shop on 12th street and Vintage Thrift.
CF: If you could only wear one designer or brand, who would it be?
How To: Now that it is officially sweater weather in the northeast, don’t be ashamed to wear your favorite striped sweater (all the time). Grab one with a turtleneck for extra warmth. Dr. Martens are a smart pick for when there’s snow as is a warm beanie. Complete the look with oversized jeans that complement your cozy vibe and make snowy weekdays much more bearable.
