It seems everyone these days is running a mile a minute. This Fashionista shows us how to keep your cute wears in check, whether you have two minutes to spare getting ready or two hours. Queen of the quick change, she dished out all of her easy-peasy outfit ensembles.
Name: Shannon Gasper
Major: Environmental Science
CollegeFashionista: What is your go-to outfit on a rainy day?
SG: On a rainy day I usually try to wear any type of boot. Getting your feet wet is the worst and sitting in class for an hour and a half with them sopping is not at all ideal. If there’s even a chance of rain or a cloudy sky, I reach for my combat boots.
CF: How about when you’re running late for class? Or am I the only one who hits snooze a couple times too many?
SG: Leggings and a comfy tee. Class is casual but you can always dress it up by adding a patterned jacket, a vibrantly-colored scarf or bold bracelets and necklaces.
CF: What is your favorite thing about dressing for summer?
SG: I love wearing sandals. I am all about the footwear and sandals are my favorite. There are so many options, styles and colors to choose from that I can never get enough.
How To: On this chilly, wet and rainy April day, this Fashionista sprung for a printed plaid jacket and color-contrasting scarf on top of a plain white tee and black leggings. Be sure to grab a pair of water repellant boots, whether it be Dr. Martens, Hunter Boots or a thick combat boot before you go out in the rain. It is better to be stylish than be sorry!
