Paulina Young: I’m wearing a Club Monaco sweater, a Forever 21 chambray shirt, Zara jeans, Seychelles heels and Zara bag.
CF: How would you describe your personal style?
PY: When making wardrobe choices, I try to go for casual and comfortable clothes that don’t sacrifice style. Mixing a bold piece with simple basics is my usual way of making a statement without saying too much!
CF: Tell us the story behind one of the pieces you are wearing.
PY: I bought the strappy Seychelles heels I’m wearing for my high school prom. It makes me happy when I make purchases that survive year after year of closet purges!
CF: What’s one thing in your wardrobe that you can’t live without?
PY: I would have to say my American Apparel velvet leggings. I absolutely recommend this pair for both comfort and style.
CF: What’s something you’re constantly purchasing right now?
PY: I love neutral-toned sweaters, but I think it’s about time for me to venture into another region of the color spectrum!
CF: Where do you look for stylistic inspiration?
How To: Throw a warm knit over a classic collared button-up shirt and pair them with some colored skinny jeans. Don’t forget to add some bold accessories such as a pair of sophisticated heels, a studded clutch or a statement necklace!
