Name: Marisha Partika

Major: Electronic Media Production

Year: Freshman

CollegeFashionista: Where did you get your outfit?

Marisha Partika: The coat is from Express, the pants are from New York & Company and the boots are from Charlotte Russe. Oh, and my grandma got me the beanie so I’m not sure where it’s from.

CF: I love your coat, what made you want to buy it?

MP: Well I love the color of it. It stands out in the winter because most people go for dark colored coats like black, brown and dark grey. However, it’s not too bright like a fire engine red but more of a seasonal red.

CF: Who is your fashion inspiration?

MP: I’d have to say Kristen Stewart. She has such a cool laid back style but can easily put herself together and get all dressed up.

CF: What are you excited to wear in spring 2014?

MP: Cute shorts. I have the cutest pair of high-waisted shorts with studs. They’re so edgy and I cannot wait to bring them out this spring.

CF: What is your favorite accessory to wear right now?

MP: I love wearing long thin chains.

How To: Recreate this Fashionista’s look from the bottom, up. Couple some light brown boots with your classic blue jeans. Throw a peacoat over your top to keep warm and stay stylish. Contrast the color of your blue jeans and red coat with a black cross-body bag. Finally top off the entire look with a multicolored beanie and you’re ready to take on this season in style.
