FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT: Kimberly Ceballos

Fashionista Spotlight

Dashing around doing New Years Eve errands can be a stressful series of events if not planned out accordingly! It seems as if all my fellow party-planners are thinking about the little details from the lighting in our apartment, to the color of the napkins on our table when we invite our guests over. So during all this craziness, fashion can sometimes be an important thing scooted to the back of our minds. But don’t let that be you, Fashionistas/os! Dress in something comfortable, warm and appropriate for a day out on the town going from store to store. Like today’s Fashionista, a pair of leggings with a sheer, stylish top and some combat boots is a perfect outfit to run errands in here South Texas.

Name: Kimberly Ceballos

Major: Criminal Justice

Year: Sophomore

CollegeFashionista: What are you wearing today?

Kimberly Ceballos: My blouse is from Old Navy, my leggings are from Charlotte Russe and my boots are from A’gaci.

CF: If you could use one word to describe your style, what would it be and why?

KC: My style is very relaxed. I dress that way because it best suits my personality. I’m not really perky, or super out there and I think my style reflects that perfectly.

CF: Where are some of your favorite places to shop?

KC: I really just have one favorite place and that’s Charlotte Russe. I can live there!

CF: Why do you think it’s important to dress nice during school?

KC: I think it’s important because when you do, it gives you confidence during classes. Your self-esteem overall is really important going from class to class.

CF: If you could raid any celebrity closet, whose would it be and why?

KC: I would raid Mila Kunis’ closet definitely just because my style is so similar to hers.

How To: I personally always love to add small gold or silver details in my outfits especially when I wear lots of black or navy blue. In this case if you’d like to mimic this Fashionista’s outfit, try layering a cardigan with some detailing on the sleeves or neckline. Layering necklaces like these can make a difference. Also, instead of solid black tights try a statement print to stay comfortable while being chic.
