Break into the beanie this winter. Not only are they invading this campus this cold winter, they are becoming a winter essential. They keep you warm, they are stylish, but most importantly, they cover up a bad hair day. After a long weekend, late night hours of studying, what more can a Fashionista ask for in a winter accessory? This Fashionista nails the winter street style look wearing a beanie from American Heritage.
Name: Jenn Eisenberg
CollegeFashionista: How would you best describe your style?
Jenn Eisenberg: I would best describe my style as sporty and preppy, but even though my style is pretty sporty, I always like to incorporate my wardrobe with the latest trend and my personality.
CF: What are your essentials for the cold weather?
JE: Oversized sweaters and beanies. My closet is filled with oversized sweaters right now, and I love pairing them with a dark colored beanie. They go with any outfit.
CF: Where is your outfit from?
JE: The cardigan is LA Hearts from PacSun, the shirt is from Urban Outfitters and the shoes are from Charlotte Russe. The socks are from J.Crew.
How To: Wear this outfit out in the town with your best gal pals with just a few steps. Keep the beanie, it keeps you a few degrees warmer, and it makes you look effortlessly trendy. Since you’ll be inside hopefully for the night, swap the sweater with a graphic T-shirt. Brandy Melville has the perfect tops with the best sayings on them, so time to get bold. Of course, you can’t perfect street style without your handy dandy Chuck Taylors, so lace up.
