Name: Jasmine Myers

Major: Fashion Design

Year: Junior

CollegeFashionista: What are you wearing today?

Jasmine Myers: So today I’m wearing my H&M knit green sweater paired with my zip pants I got from New York & Company. I have on H&M riding boots and my infinity scarf also from New York & Company. Oh, and I’m carrying my R+J leather handbag.

CF: How would you describe your style?

JM: I like to try everything. My style is about trying new and different elements of clothing and switching up styles.

CF: What fashion item can’t you live without?

JM: My MAC lipstick products. I wear lipstick or lipgloss almost everyday and all of them are MAC. A handbag is also an item I carry all the time, especially for my school stuff.

CF: What does fashion mean to you?

JM: To me it means trying different trends and clothing; it’s being able to express yourself in a new form.

CF: Do you have any favorite designers/brands?

JM: Chanel, Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs. I like them because they are very chic and unique in their own ways. Their designs are fun and out of the norm. Two high end designers I love, but can’t afford are Prada and Valentino.

CF: Where do you love to shop?

JM: I go to Ulta and Macy’s for beauty products. Then I shop at Nordstrom, New York & Company and T.J. Maxx because they fit my style. They all have variety and I pick and choose new pieces for different looks.

CF: Where do your inspirations come from when designing?

JM: Nature. I also get inspiration from architecture and color. I love these elements because I can use them to produce designs that are exotic.

How To: To become chic like this Fashionista find your favorite sweater and match it with colored pants. Choose a pair of awesome riding boots and don’t forget a wool coat if you are in cold weather. Accessorize with a beautiful scarf and hat to complete the look.
