Effortless looks for those Mondays that no one is ever a fan of are essential. Taking a simple outfit and adding small details such as jewelry can make a look feel complete. This week’s Fashionista’s arm candy caught my eye.
Name: Haley Costanza
Major: Fashion Design
CollegeFashionista: Where did you get the pieces in your look?
Haley Costanza: My bracelet is Hermès. The watch I’m wearing is from Movado. I got my cardigan from Anthropologie and my boots are Crown Vintage from DSW.
CF: What is your go-to look for fall and winter?
HC: My go-to look is oversized cardigans with tights and booties or over the knee boots.
CF: What is next on your winter wardrobe shopping list?
HC: An oversized pastel wool blend, collarless coat from ASOS is next on my shopping list. It reminds me of Céline.
CF: How did you get into fashion design?
HC: I like to put outfits together. My mom worked at Knit Wit and did their store displays. She’s where I got my inspiration from.
CF: What are your favorite brands or places to shop?
HC: I have a pretty eclectic style. I mostly shop by price range. Zara is one of my favorites. ASOS is online but I shop on there a lot. I shop at Forever 21 too, of course.
How To: To recreate Haley’s look, search for the perfect long open-front cardigan. Try this one from Zara if you’re looking for something neutral. Here’s one from Forever 21 if you’re in the mood for some color. Pair with a black tank top and black leggings. If you’re feeling bold, try these faux leather leggings. Finally, add a pair of booties like these ones from Forever 21. Since her arm candy is what caught my eye, finish off your look by mixing and matching bracelets which you already own on one arm and wear a watch on the other. Pull all of these elements together to create an effortless go-to outfit for any day of the week.
