It’s now the second week of classes and the workload has officially picked up. Even with a busy day-to-day schedule this fashionista rocks a fashionable outfit that is both trendy and comfortable. Combining a classic chambray shirt with an animal-print scarf it gives her look just enough edge while she is walking around campus.
Name: Emily Hill
Major: Health Sciences/Pre-Med
College Fashionista: What are you wearing?
Emily Hill: Leggings from Brandy Melville, button-up jean shirt from Forever 21, leopard print scarf from Target and tan boots from a little boutique in New York City.
CF: Where do you find your fashion inspiration?
EH: A lot of it comes from my friends and different celebrities. As of right now, I have been finding a lot of inspiration from Caggie Dunlop from the show Made in Chelsea.
CF: What is one thing in your closet that you cannot lie without?
EH: That’s a tough question. Either black leggings or oversized shirts.
CF: What’s your best tip for staying stylish in college?
EH: Mix and match different accessories or clothing that are cheap with items that are more expensive and that you can’t live without.
How to: To begin this look start off with simple black leggings, which as we all know are very comfortable and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. This fashionista chose a pair leggings that have a little bit of texture in them which gives her look a little bit of edge. Next is the classic chambray button-up shirt, which is very on trend this season. Forever 21 has a great selection of chambray shirts in so many different styles. A leopard print scarf is a great way to make a statement by either wrapping or knotting it around your neck.
