FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT: Danielle Kistulinec

Fashionista Spotlight

Some people may think that as winter approaches and it starts to get colder out that the only option for staying warm is dressing in many layers. Today’s Fashionista proved that wrong with one of my favorite wintertime clothing staples: sweater dresses. As you can see, this Fashionista was able to wear a sweater dress and by adding a few accessories she made her look casual and comfortable yet cute and sassy.

Name: Danielle Kistulinec

Major: Marketing

Year: Sophomore

CollegeFashionista: What are you wearing and where is it from?

Danielle Kistulinec: I’m wearing a sweater dress from H&M with Steve Madden booties named Upgrade. My glasses are from Burberry and my watch is from Fossil.

CF: How would you describe your style?

DK: My style is definitely unique to myself and I typically dress differently every day. My style can vary from a bohemian inspired outfit to an edgy leather skirt.

CF: Has working at Steve Madden changed your style? If yes, how so?

DK: It hasn’t changed my style it’s just given me the opportunity to put different outfits together with more options of shoes!

CF: What is one item in your closet that you cannot live without?

DK: My Steve Madden combat boots!

CF: What trends are you most excited about for winter?

DK: Military inspired clothing, color-blocking and leather.

How To: First thing’s first, in order to achieve this look you need to have the perfect sweater dress. Some may feel that wearing horizontal stripes is risky so here’s an alternative solid sweater dress! Pairing a sweater dress with a heeled bootie dresses the overall look up.
