With fall closely approaching our door step, people everywhere are finding ways to successfully transition their summer pieces to fall pieces. This seasonal transition brings mixed feelings. I absolutely love wearing beanies and my thrift store sweaters throughout the fall, but on the other hand, summer dresses, skirts and cropped tops can no longer be worn to its original summer value.
Living in Kent, Ohio the weather is so unpredictable, and layers are a Fashionista/o’s best friend. This Fashionista pulls of the perfect summer to fall transitional outfit. Her black asymmetrical high-split maxi skirt gives a look of ease, comfort and fashion while still remaining summer appropriate. She topped it off with a black hat and a neutral bag. The star of this ensemble is her blue textured velvet cropped top. Velvet is such a luxurious fabric but combined with a cropped top, it’s everyday appropriate.
