Future fashion marketer, Ashley Chan, walked into class one day with a simple and cute ensemble. The weather was breezy outside, so she made a wise choice with a long sleeved top and tights under her flowy mini skirt. The scarf she picked was boldly saturated and gave a good amount of pop to her quaint outfit. I found her style to be a mix and match of key basics with a little twist. I would ultimately describe it as girly, classic and effortless without looking too simple.
Name: Ashley Chan
Major: Fashion Marketing & Management
CollegeFashionista: What is your personal taste in clothing and/or clothing stores?
Ashley Chan: I LIVE in American Eagle. But I’d say most of my clothes are really girly and simple. I wear a lot of solid colors and pink.
CF: If money weren’t an issue, would your style be any different than it is now?
AC: I don’t think my style would change drastically if money wasn’t an issue. I would have more clothes, but [my] style would be the same.
CF: Are there any trends out now that you aren’t a big fan of?
AC: I’m not a huge fan of creeper shoes. I don’t understand them. And patterned pants. I’m short, so patterned pants really do nothing to lengthen my height.
