Camouflage print has come a long way and for years it has gone in and out of fashion. But finally, the signature camouflage jacket look has become a permanent trend in both men and women’s fashion. The neutral earth-toned colors on camouflage jackets have made it easy for anyone to match and wear it with a casual t-shirt or a semi-formal look. I spotted today’s Fashionisto sitting outside a bench soaking up the beautiful outdoor weather.
Name: Alex Flores
CollegeFashionista: Where did you get each of the pieces of your outfit?
Alex Flores: My t-shirt, camouflage jacket and moccasins are all vintage. I usually get my vintage clothing from thrift shops. I got my pants at J.Crew and my black wayfarers are Ray-Ban.
CF: What do you love about style?
Alex Flores: I think style is a subjective art, so loving and hating it kind of intertwine with each other. I don’t think everyone enjoys my personal style, but I love people that wear clothes that are matched appropriately.
CF: Where do you get your style inspiration?
AF: I don’t know. I just inspire myself and look for something that will make me look and feel crazy, which usually works.
CF: What is your favorite spring accessory?
AF: Plain basic socks
CF: What does fashion mean to you?
AF: Fashion is a cool word it means putting on clothes and walking out the door. I think painstakingly picking your clothing is also fashion. Like style, fashion is a very subjective craft that some may not like, but who cares!
