Fashion From Abroad

The weather in Europe has taken a turn for the worse. Chillier temperatures, rain in a city that “never sees rain” and a constant wind. This has taken Fashionistas out of their sundresses and back into their favorite sweaters.

Today’s Fashionista chose a simple gray V-neck wool knit to keep her warm on a lovely Friday afternoon. I love the look of such a petite figure rocking a boyfriend style sweater — a perfectly comfortable option. What I love most though is the way she paired it with a tight mini and black booties, achieving innocence and rocker chic all at once.

I absolutely adore minis. They are girly, sexy and simple and make any top look amazing. Pairing the tight mini with a slightly baggy sweater gives off a very relaxed look without being too casual. Bright colored minis are everywhere these days, which I simply cannot get enough of, but the black is classic and will go with absolutely anything. Still, if you haven’t added a bright or neon one to your wardrobe, I insist you do so immediately because they could not be more fun for summer!

Of course, the boots are my favorite part. They add a bit of edge, which I find to be the most important part of any outfit. Even knee-high boots would look awesome with this outfit but the booties are a bit more day and weather appropriate.

If you aren’t a miniskirt-during-the-day type of girl, pair your favorite sweater with some high-waisted shorts to achieve the same look. Zara has some fabulous options. I of course cannot end this article without noting her beautiful Louis Vuitton bag — a purse that is simply to live for!
