Fashion From Abroad

One of the great things about being abroad is the different opportunities to travel while here. For instance, the other weekend I visited one of my “sorority sisters” in Montpelier, France and sufficiently ate my way through her Nutella. As I am always looking for new fashion inspirations, it was fun to see the street style that circulated through this underrated city and how I could somehow maneuver this into my own style.

At my attempt to be thrifty, I convinced my friend that it was necessary we take a bus back to Barcelona. Although it was far from ideal, I came across this Fashionista at the stop before we started back on our journey home. When I spotted this trendsetter, I could not get over her printed pants that reminded me of a Dalmatian. I have been familiar with various different animal prints, but I have never been accustomed to this 101 Dalmatians trend that this Fashionsta seamlessly pulled off. While researching this trend a little more, many different European Fashion Weeks have been raving about the Dalmatians craze. For instance, Burberry’s fall 2011 London Fashion Week is when people started to catch on to this trend and it has been in full force ever since.

One of the great things about this trend is its ability to be versatile in your every day street style. This Fashionista was able to master this trend with her H&M pants that are perfect for walking around. Her navy T-shirt, bash cardigan and sunnies help this Fashionisa mold this trend to her own. Other ways you can master this trend include trench coats, loafers and dresses.
