It’s friday once again Fashionistas and that means another weekend lies ahead! I can confess that nothing feels better on a weekend afternoon than throwing on a cute, comfortable and easy outfit, especially after weeks full of classes and touring in a large city like Rome. I can also confess that from time to time, I have been guilty of sporting weekend outfits that have included yoga pants, fuzzy socks and my favorite college T-shirt. While these items are always convenient and tempting, it is important to remember that comfort does not require sacrificing style.
With this in mind, it’s easy to see why I found this Fashionista’s outfit weekend ready and easy to envy! She started with a soft and loose Brandy Melville top layered over a skirt. This look can also be achieved by layering your loose tops and sweaters over your favorite dress, which gives the illusion that you’re wearing a skirt.
My favorite part of the outfit was this Fashionista’s choice in shoes. She wasn’t afraid to rock a low white Converse sneaker, even with a skirt. Converse are always a classic option to wear with just about any outfit, and they give off a fun and laid-back vibe, especially when adding them to simple girly layered look.
She topped her look off with a Longchamp Le Pliage Tote Bag, the perfect bag (that just so happens to come in every size and color imaginable) for holding all of your essentials. This keeps you prepared for whatever may come along on your long days of freedom. With the chillier weather, replace a short skirt or dress with a simple cotton maxi skirt or dress, and add something like a long and loose cardigan sweater.
So Fashionistas, no matter where you are in the world or what lies ahead for your weekend, enjoy your time off! Your week is over and you deserve to celebrate by relaxing and staying comfortable, but please resist wearing the super soft leopard print onesie out of the house and leave that one to Miley (and Miley only). Layer up, add some cute kicks and an all-purpose bag and you’re out the door! Arrivederche!
