FASHION FROM ABROAD: The Queen of Vintage

Fashion From Abroad

Last weekend, I traveled to London, England. The City of London is like nothing I have ever seen. Everything revolves around the royals who live in the palace and all the buildings look like they came out of an old film. I also realized that everyone had their own style in London. Everyone was very dressed up in vintage type clothing and all the women looked like they just stepped out of an American Apparel photo shoot.

As I was taking photos of all the guards who were guarding the museum, I found my Fashionista! She caught my eye because her outfit was basic but had its own trendy personality. She wore a plaid button down shirt, a white knitted cardigan and black high wasted jeans that she told me she found in a consignment shop. As for shoes and accessories, she wore the cutest gladiator sandals from Topshop, a pair of Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses and a white satchel.

Although this Fashionista found most of her clothes she was wearing at a thrift shop in England, everything can be found in stores around you in America. It is also fun to spend a day looking through thrift stores trying to find old frumpy clothing that you never thought you’d like and realizing it’s just now coming back in style.
