FASHION FROM ABROAD: Salem, Massachusetts

What better way to start Halloween than going to the most spooky town of them all? Salem is located in Essex County, Massachusetts and is only a short two hours from the University of Rhode Island. This little old town is remembered for witchcraft and the Salem Witch Trials beginning in 1962, and is now associated with the holiday of Halloween. Throughout this town there are many cemeteries, churches and of course, people dressed in costumes! When walking through Salem there are many interactions that take place. You can have a psychic reading, interact with all sorts of dressed up monsters and eat great food set up in food trucks.

While making my way through Salem, I of course payed close attention to all of the outfits walking through the cobblestone streets. This Fashionista is dressed head to toe in the best style. She is wearing gray and black colors that compliment the beautiful colored leaves falling off the trees. Her black jeans fall perfectly around her ankles to match up with the small-heeled booties. Her booties accent her outfit nicely and are the perfect height to walk in comfortably. On top she matches her black semi-ripped jeans with a gray sweater. The sweater is simple enough to not take away from her cardigan and warm enough to keep her bundled up in this autumn weather! Over her sweater she has a two-toned gray, fringe cardigan that falls effortlessly on her shoulders. The geometric, tribal pattern adds a hint of excitement to her outfit, while still keeping it classy.

This Fashionista looks great and does so comfortably. All of these pieces make it easy to travel through a new city while still looking the best!
