The weather in Italy has been rain on top of rain on top of even more rain. It’s not exactly what I was expecting when I left America. I can’t complain since rain is better than the endless amounts of snow Quinnipiac has been experiencing. But the sun has finally come out along with all of the lovely Fashionistas on every street corner. When the sun does come out, it’s truly amazing and fascinating to see all the beauty this city has to offer.
While standing in front of Florence’s one of a kind Duomo, I spotted a student strutting her way to class in a very charming business casual outfit. Her top, which is a tie neck blouse, has become quite popular around the working streets of New York City which is why I was surprised to see this look here in Florence. The polka-dot pattern of the on the blouse adds a more edgy and fun look compared to the standard business causal look you tend to see. By incorporating different types of patterns into your work clothes, you’ll definitely stand out and stray away from the norm.
Not only though did the blouse catch my eye but I also must acknowledge her Tom Ford sunglasses. Can you say fabulous? The cat eye style is utterly remarkable and can really benefit your outfit. The cat eye will definitely remain popular throughout these upcoming seasons. Sunglasses on a sunny day are always a necessity, which means that buying the right pair to make a statement is important.
Although clothing is the essential part of your look, you can never go wrong with some red lips. I am a big fan of lipstick and have tried many kinds throughout the years. My favorite reds always have a deep undertone of blue instead of pink; if you’re looking for a solid red, that is what you want. Whether you are going out on the town or heading to class for the day, accessorizing with lipstick can drastically change the way you look in relation to your outfit.
With this being said, be bold, be strong and strut your looks as this Fashionista has done. Always remember that being confident is the key to looking fabulous. Ciao for now!
