FASHION FROM ABROAD: Parisian Princess

My time abroad has truly opened my eyes to new fashion trends and even better shopping. I began to notice that most of the trends start in Europe and then trickle down to the states. Which makes it better for me, since now I’m ahead of the game.

The cold front has swept its way through Paris, but have no fear, the fur coat is here. Fur has never gone out of style, but faux furs have definitely gone in and out of the spotlight. It can be difficult to find the right faux fur, one that can match with a variety of things, but that stands out at the same time.

I stumbled upon this Parisian Fashionista walking through the park on one of my trips to the city. Her audacious yet neutral look is what seemed to catch my eye. Her navy blue faux fur is a color I would never expect to be worn, yet this Parisian princess totally pulled it off.

The fur is light and feathery, perfect to be worn over simple neutrals. This Fashionista decided to wear a black T-shirt dress almost the same length as the fur. Sometimes furs can hide your curves, but wearing it that way made her legs still look long and lean. This also made the shoes a statement piece of the outfit as well. She wore suede over-the-knee, heeled boots to complement the black dress. Then to complete the look, a Kate Spade classic bag was added.

Fashion abroad will continue to inspire my upcoming purchases and influence my overall wardrobe. This Fashionista mentioned most of her look was from Zara, a European favorite!
