Just as it is starting to heat up around Florence, Italy more and more floral patterns and pastel colors are making their debut. When I think florals in Florence, I immediately think Guccio Gucci. This Florence born designer is immensely popular around the world and especially in Italy, where it all began. Each season Gucci comes out with a new floral line in accessories, clothes and shoes. This is my favorite part about the spring season and because of this I was drawn right away to this Fashionista’s adorable floral sundress.
Sundresses are an essential go to item that I have ready in my own closet. It is so easy to throw on when going out for a day of activities or for a night out with friends. When I spotted this Fashionista at the Boboli Gardens she was looking feminine and flirty with the addition of her jean vest with her sundress. When wearing any floral pattern it can be interesting to add another layer to create a fun texture.
Stay on trend this season and try mixing your floral pattern with another pattern. For example a lighter plaid or gingham print can add a grungy or edgy look to a floral skirt and top. Recently, Tobi came out with multiple floral pattern options. Get your fix with their black Rubi pants or their midnight blooms dress, two of my must-haves.
Regarding accessories, silver is stealing the spotlight this spring. I love how this Fashionista wore multiple rings on the same hand. Turquoise has become more and more popular as well. Check out Brandy Melville’s many options for your favorite turquoise stone ring.
