FASHION FROM ABROAD: Effortless Sight Seeing

Traveling abroad in Europe has definitely affected my fashion sense. I am constantly seeing people take risks and wear whatever expresses their personal style. I am also constantly seeing people dress very minimally but keeping it chic and making it look effortless.

So how does one sight-see and backpack all over Europe in the summer heat but stay stylish? This past weekend I ran into a fashionista who nailed this task right on the head. I was out with my girls sight-seeing around Spain on a warm, sunny day in May when I captured this Fashionista rocking a maxi dress and sun hat. She was standing in a popular spot, taking advantage of the photo-op when I asked her if I could snap a few photos of her. I asked her where she got her look and she told me that she had picked up that dress at the local Mango. Mango is very popular in Europe with their minimalistic, ’70s inspired look.

The spring 2015 line for Mango is all about “elegant ease” as they style their Fashionistas with everything from sandals to blazers. If you’re like this Fashionista and you’re traveling around Europe, there is nothing better than finding that elegant ease. There is nothing worse than being uncomfortable when sight-seeing all day. However, you don’t want to be caught in some of the most beautiful places in the world in a bad outfit. With this flowy, white maxi dress you’re sure to stay cool and feel good all day.

Another perfect element of this ensemble is her sun hat. Nothing makes an outfit come together like a hat and what better time to wear one than when the sun is beating down on you? She paired this tan hat with a black accent perfectly to give her white dress some color. She also paired it to match her black handbag. Pairing the black with the white dress was a great way to spice up her look. This girl may be out to learn more about history, but she has all the knowledge down when it comes to fashion.
