FASHION FROM ABROAD: Easy, Breezy Travels

As a Style Guru, I couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to travel this summer. Exploring Europe has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. That being said, packing with these adventures in mind was extremely difficult. Trying to select styles that would blend in with different cultures in different countries yet still look stylish was quite the task.

It was a very warm weekend, and it was nice to get away from the typical cloudy London weather. In order to avoid looking like a tourist, I filled my carry on with skirts and dresses that could be comfortable for long days of walking and exploring but were still trendy . On my first adventure outside of the United Kingdom, I spotted this Fashionista walking the canals. Her outfit was spot on! If you take a look at some of the latest runway trends coming out of spring ready-to-wear collections (specifically Gucci), sheer layers are in! This trend is really exciting because of the endless mix and match possibilities it creates.

This Fashionista totally mastered vacation-trendy-style. The latest sheer fashion trend is perfect the summer weather. In most cases, the fabric is very light weight and makes it easy to layer anything underneath. Due to the emphasis on water and nautical life, this Fashionista stood out by successfully pairing her sheer dress with a crop tank top and a pencil skirt. This look can easily take her from canal side to a day on a boat and even to the beach!

Captured: I spotted this Fashionista enjoying the beauty and liveliness of the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy!
