Fashion From Abroad

Ladies and gentlemen, spring has finally sprung here in London! Well, until next week when the rain decides to return after tempting us with clear blue skies. The sunny weather here has brought out some of the loveliest styles among Londoners I have seen thus far during my time abroad and I can’t wait to share it with you.

I spotted this Fashionista during one of the first days at London Fashion Week and I couldn’t help but dash over and ask her for her photograph. The specific item of hers that I fell head over heels in love with was her blush-toned coat. Pink coats have been seen all over the runways recently from the infamous pink Carven coat to similar blush colored coats from Topshop, J.Crew and Simone Rocha. Her oversized coat looks darling in the photograph but up close and in person, it was even better. The soft wool and airy texture of it offset her black leather leggings and dark minimalistic accessories.

By swapping in a bright colored item into your wardrobe and then pairing it with more muted colors is an ideal way to beat the winter blues and liven up your closet. Of course we all see beautiful brightly colored items when we browse our favorite stores and sometimes wonder how to pull that perfect piece off. By drawing all the attention to that one specific brightly colored piece and pairing it with other items that accent it, you can easily pull off a successfully fashionable look.

Take note from this Fashionista and run to your nearest boutique to add a little color into your life!
