Men usually stray away from all things fashion but little do they know they can achieve a fashion-forward look while dressing strictly for comfort. Spending all day in class makes it necessary to dress for comfort. With recent trends in men’s fashion this is made insanely easy! Everything from plaid to chambray offer men a comfortable and fashionable approach to their wardrobe!
CollegeFashionista: Tell me about your outfit.
Joe Edwards: With this cold weather, I really like wearing layers. Plaid is one of my favorite patterns to wear because it is not basic but not too much.
CF: What are your favorite stores to shop at?
JE: Urban Outfitters, H&M, Fossil and Nordstrom.
CF: What does fashion mean to you?
JE: To me fashion is a way to express my mood. I live by my own three C’s: casual, comfort and clearance.
CF: What is your favorite thing about fall fashion?
CF: What is one item in your closet you cannot live without?
JE: My vans because they go with everything and offer an edge to whatever I am wearing.
How To: Depending on whether you are a button up for pullover man, start from there. Choose either a plaid bottom up or pull over sweater and build the outfit off of that. Owning a pair of comfortable jeans is key in any college wardrobe and makes the perfect match to almost any shirt choice. For guys, Vans or Converse offer a versatile shoe that matches practically everything!
