A month into my stay, I have found my signature places in London. It is always a blessing when you find your favorite spot to people-watch, while enjoying a cup of tea. Of the many trends evolving throughout London, I would say leather has come the farthest in street style. Leather is sweeping through fashion and adorning all different types of clothing. It is gracing the collars of trench coats, sleeves of shirts and lining edges of trim, in addition to its regular appearances on shoes and purses. Typically, leather can have a traditional biker feel, only making appearances when you’re feeling extra sassy on a night out. Yet, London’s Fashionistas have been wearing leather in their everyday style. This Fashionista incorporated leather (colored leather, actually) into her outfit. This leather fashion statement shows no sign of stopping, as it is prevalent this spring 2013, as well as leading into fall.
