The colder my fingers feel, the closer I know we are to full blown fall. I often find myself getting moodier as gray sky is more prevalent and the warmer days wane. My Fashionisto this week took the moody grays that so often get me down, and turned them around into an athletic-meets-classic outfit that’s perfect for the inbetween weather.
I’m often pleased with the simplicity of outfits on men. Our Fashionisto's tight gray thermal fits nicely over a white T-shirt. His distressed jeans are actually Hollister, and of course, he is rocking gray Chuck Taylors. Another thing I noticed that contributed to this simply chic look was his backpack: camouflage-esqe colors mixed with brown and black. This is a trend I am particularly partial to when it comes to men and women alike. This mix of woodsy color is no longer only reserved for the woods or the military – it has been a steady trend for Fashionistas and Fashionistos alike.
The Midwestyle blog discusses this trend this week on their menswear page as well. Taken from the idea of this blog, my hint this week would be to use camouflage in another way.
Hint: Maybe you aren’t bold enough to go for a camo pant, but a nice jacket could be an easier item to keep in your style arsenal. This item could be worn a myriad of ways and will keep you warm in the chilly October air. I’m also a true believer that camo will never go out of style.
