In the south, even though nine times out of ten it will be warm during winter, a cold night happens every now and then. Winter should not limit you from what you can wear out. Fashion is not about what the weather is like on the outside, it is how you feel on the inside. Whether you are going out with the girls or having a fun night out with your man, be sure to stay true to yourself. When it comes to dressing up for a winter night out, never stop yourself from dressing fabulous because of the cold weather.
This season has been nothing but sunny and warm. Unfortunately, today just so happened to be the coldest day, so I instantly gave up hope on finding a Fashionista/o. Towards the end of the day, I was actually in luck. This Fashionista was flirty, yet alternative, and I was automatically obsessed. While it is a dream of mine to wear my summer clothes all year round, it is completely unrealistic. Even on a drab winter day, this Fashionista was still able to brighten the campus with her fun and flirty skater dress. A dress with a pop of color will always do the talking for you. When preparing for your night out, focus on standing out. Ultimately, this nighttime winter ensemble was nothing short of amazing.
This Fashionista was able to create a winter outfit all her own by adding winter-friendly items to her springy turquoise dress. Girlie, yes, but this Fashionista was able to mix a rocking jacket with a flirty dress. A perfect hard/soft combination indeed. When I first saw this Fashionista, I instantly noticed her black leather jacket. Boy or girl, a leather jacket is a great staple to have in anyone’s closet. With pants, skirts or dresses, a leather jacket is a very versatile type of jacket. Her combat boots completely pull this Fashionista’s rockin’ yet classic look all together.
One Simple Change: It may be winter, but designer wear for warmer weather are already in stores. For a summer night out, lose the leather jacket, tights and combat boots. This Fashionista just so happens to be wearing a dress perfect for spring and summer. Add a pair of nude pumps and you are ready to bring the heat!
