So chic. I cannot even begin to describe how much I adore this Fashionisto’s look. On this cool summer day, this Fashionisto was strutting the chicest style on the streets of New York City. I am a huge fan of the layering he shows off in this photograph. His Hermès scarf coincides well with his All Saints jacket, while his black Timberland boots paired with his black Topman skinnies complement his overall classy and confident look to the max. This Fashionisto goes totally dark with his all-black attire, including his basic American Apparel T-shirt. However, this is not always a bad thing. He also shows that it is quite okay and sometimes necessary to pair dark with dark, while offsetting the darkness with this chic Hermès scarf that seems to add an overwhelming splash of color and energy.
Scarves are a great accessory to add to any outfit, and frankly, I feel they always have a marvelous way of complementing any body type and/or style. Though there are many stylish Fashionistas and Fashionistos walking the streets of New York City on a daily basis, this Fashionisto in particular caught my eye. Not only did he carry an abundance of refreshing confidence with him, but as I said, I really admired his dark side. Many Fashionistas and Fashionistos I have spoken with will admit that when it comes to dressing darker, they feel hesitant. I challenge this, and so does this Fashionisto. In my opinion, going full-out dark, or even neutral is fabulous, especially if you have a chic accessorie to offset it, as this Fashionisto did with his scarf. You see, the beauty of an accessory, such as the Hermès scarf, is that it has the potential to stand out even more when pairing it with something simple. It would be a sorry shame to not give something so magnificent the chance to stand out and speak sound by overshadowing it with other bold accessories. However, this scarf served its justice and in fact spoke to me all the way across the street, over the hustle and bustle of the busy city.
If I could leave my readers with some advice when it comes to picking out clothing, it would be just this: be fearless when it comes to mixing, and in this Fashionisto's case, matching. Never hesitate to pair same-color attire together, for the outcome will be brilliant and may even bring you more flair than patterns have the ability to.
