The weather is getting chilly in Lawrence and all the new fall jackets are coming out to play. I spotted this Fashionista’s jacket and loved the unique style and little leopard print detail on the cuffs. When it comes to picking out a fall jacket this season, I’ve noticed there are so many unique styles and extra accents that make a jacket really unique to your personal style.

College Fashionista: What is your personal style?
Coral Lu: I think my personal style is cute with a little bit of mature element. I like to wear simple but unique clothes that you can not easily find in all stores.
CF: What is your favorite fashion era?
CL: I really like Modern fashion, but I think 1960s is attractive as well.
CF: What is your favorite designer?
CL: I don’t have a favorite designer, but I have many favorite brands. I use to live in New England area, so I really pay attention to fashion names like Prada and Chanel the most. I have a couple pieces from them. And I like some very cute Asian style clothing.
CF: What is your favorite style and how does style here differ from New England?
CL: I can see in America many girls like to wear sweaters and leggings in college, but in my country we like to show detail to things such as very cute lace sweaters. Not the loose ones, kind of cute and sexy ones.
How To: Unfortunately this Fashionista’s coat is from overseas but there are many jackets this season with small accents that can fit your personal style. Personally, this season my favorite styles are NASTY GAL's Off Duty Anorak jacket because its leather sleeves gives the nature girl some sex appeal. Also if you are daring and feeling frisky, NASTY GAL has a variety of fur jackets like their Donna Leopard Moto Jacket. Another unique style I have seen this season is Free People's Denim and Sharpa Jacket, that gives any look a bit of a '70s feel.
