Winter in Florida means an unpredictable amount of rain and sun paired with a side of cold fronts and heat waves. At least on the coast, weather is fairly temperate. But every Floridian Fashionista holds a soft spot for colder weather, since it allows us to break out that seldom-used winter gear!

The combination of seasons is commonplace for combatting unpredictable Floridian temperatures and the boot and dress combo is a signature look for the collegiate Southern belle especially.

Spotted: Knee-length boots stomped down the fall 2012 ready-to-wear runway of Bottega Veneta, though they sported a glossy black material in a streamlined look. This Fashionista's boots are more casual with an earthy tone and decorative buckle.
