During the winter months in Arizona our weather often tends to be bipolar. One day we’re freezing with 30 degree weather, and the next day the sun is shining bright, causing you to desperately wish you had worn shorts instead of your snug, dark, denim skinny jeans.
This Fashionisto was found on one of those crazy combination-weather days. He pulled out a winter sweater that was great for a sunny day with a cold breeze. His predominately gray sweater, that is embellished with a colorful pattern, is fun and festive. He makes his style seem effortless by pairing it with PacSun jeans and his tan nubuck desert boots from Clarks. I’d describe his style for the day as casual and comfortable.
During this transitional season of hot and cold weather, it’s often difficult to decide what to wear. We struggle with whether we should be in neon or black and navy, fleece coats or cotton tees. The list goes on, but below is a hint for helpful ways to survive this season on trend and in style.
Hint: A great way to combat the questioning is to try neutral colors. Gray, white and beige are an in-between colors that don’t fall to the extremes of what can or can’t be worn in the winter. Apparently summer whites have now become winter whites! Another alternative is to wear prints or patterns so that you don’t struggle with whether your solids are in or out of season; prints are a great way to blend in during the time of transition.
