LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS: Suit-able

Let's Hear it for the Boys

It is important for any Fashionisto to look suit-able for the most respectable locations. Whether you are dressed for work, interviews or a speaker series, a nice suit is the way to be presentable and appropriate. A suit is a great way to show that you are serious about your job or interview or it can be a way to look “clean-cut” at a dinner or formal. Is a black suit too plain for your taste? Try a colored suit like gray or navy blue.

This Fashionisto chose to go with a gray suit because it is simply just too hot in California to wear an all black suit. A gray suit can set you apart from the rest of your peers that have that “go-to” black suit for all occasions. A gray suit can keep you way cooler if you are going to be at an event outdoors. It also adds a little variety to your wardrobe by providing a color other than black. Gray goes with everything!!!

This Fashionisto shows that gray can be paired with any color, even lavender. Lavender is the perfect color for a beautiful sunny day. Lavender is such a great color for men, and I wish more men would experiment with pastel or neon colors. This Fashionisto takes it a step further with the bow tie as an accessory. It offers a completely different look and style to an outfit that could be so uniform; a black suit, a white shirt and a black necktie.

Hint: To get this look, try going to Express to get more of a variety of suit colors and styles. The dress shirt and necktie gives you the opportunity to add some color and personality to your suit. Add a fun patterned or colored shirt or tie to give your suit that extra attention. If you are a more daring Fashionsto, try colored shoes like white or red dress shoes or loafers to add some flavor to your suit.
