Welcome to October in Southern California! It is still as hot as ever and we are still in summer fashion out here. As you can see in my past posts, we have no idea what fall is or what type of fashion it entitles. Bright colors and shorts will be on a few more posts!
Plaid prints are easy to create a fall outfit in warmer weather—I do enjoy a Fashionisto in plaid and prints. The colors found in this Fashionistos plaid really reflect the type of environment you would encounter here at Pitzer College. Because he has rolled up sleeves, this Fashionisto gives off a more versatile look while allowing his few statement arm pieces to hold the spotlight. The G-shock watch effortlessly steals the show.
Let's talk about the shorts. His shorts are a statement piece within his outfit. If you look closely, they actually have a stacks of mone pattern. These Rocksmith shorts give off that “baller status” and confidence that every college student needs. It’s also a nice touch to have to the hint of green that matches with the green in his plaid shirt. It is a very understated way to this Fashionisto demonstrates his personality. The loafers add a nice preppy vibe to this rather upbeat outfit. I must say this is my type of outfit! I love the colors and the pattern detail on the shorts.
Hint: Plaid shirts are easy to come by: they are the perfect fabric and are alternative. They can be worn year round. Having shorts with a tiny bit of detail, like these shorts by Billionaire Boys Club would help you to vamp up this outfit. Too expensive? D.I.Y. Project! Purchase khaki shorts or use shorts you already own and purchase cool iron-ons of your choice! It’s a great way to connect with your inner Fashionisto while only spending a few bucks. Plus you add a bit of uniquness to every outfit!
