LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE BOYS: Five Shades Of Gray

How many shades of gray can you name? This Fashionisto gives you the answer with his ensemble full of gray. His style reminded me immediately of the Bespoken Men’s spring 2013 Line. With the diversification of grays in his clothing palette he offered variety to a basic outfit. Bespoken, along with a few other designers, have appropriated the use of mixed shades in one outfit. We've even seen stars like David Beckam cerca 2009 with his variations of blue and Kanye West, who sports an assortment of grays to show that one doesn’t have to stick to just one shade.

This Fashionisto is wearing a light gray dreamcatchers shirt that he layers with a hoodless medium gray jacket found at Forever 21 and coated black pants by Bullhead Dillon. He adds on his last layer of battleship gray sneakers to finalize the outfit. Playing with shades is always a fun and creative way to mix and match clothing styles.  The dreamcatcher on his shirt becomes the pop of color for this all gray getup. He also uses the centerpiece design as an accessory, so there is no need for jewelry.

Hint: Wearing multiple shades of one color can get a bit tricky. You do not want to have TOO many shades in one outfit. If you chose to wear variations of one color, try having your jacket’s color coordinate with your shoes; ultimately, you would want a bit of consistency. Additionally, you can try wearing a basic color shirt and pants with variations of shades represented in your outerwear, shoes and accessories. Play around with it!
