Running late for class with my camera in tow, I never thought I would walk into this stylish Fashionisto. His unique and “cool dude” style stood out to me instantly and I was anxiously waiting for class to be over (while intermittently stealing glances at him) to ask if I could take his picture.
I love how effortless yet so put together he looked with a simple striped tank and faded ripped jeans, topped off with very stylish cherry, well worn in cowboy boots. This reminded me very much of the time when designers such as Dolce and Gabbana started featuring the cowboy trend on the runway.
Cowboy boots are funky, cool and they’re going to be here for a while. They evoke a rebellious streak in one who goes against the flow, exuding individuality. Having been around for quite some time, these funky kicks can be found just about anywhere. Find a consignment store for cheaper alternatives or go for more variety from stores that specialize in cowboy boots.
For this Fashionisto, cowboy boots look great tucked under the fitted straight legged jean. You could also go rogue and wear it over your skinny ripped jeans very much like the Fashionisto featured here.
For the Fashionista, have fun with it and wear your stylish boots with an above the knee dress to show your rebellious side and still manage to look fun and flirty.
Spotted: On the runway, Dolce and Gabbana featured the cowboy trend in their spring/summer 2010 Collection.
