Like the modern day Woodstock, Coachella Music and Arts Festival stands as one of the greatest place for music lovers to gather. Not to mention, the festival located in Indio, California brings a plethora of fashion-clad concertgoers. In other words, it is Candyland for Fashionistas that love to party. This year, celebrities and models such as Kate Bosworth, Emma Roberts, Karlie Kloss and Cara Delvigne were in attendance whilst sporting the latest trends for spring and summer at the Mulberry party. Let’s just say Dree Hemingway killed it in Dolce&Gabanna.
One of the major highlights of the festival was the Tupac Shakur hologram and performance with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. Aside from that, the festival is a showcase of all things hippy chic and trends that fit the warm weather (with a few exceptions that should never trend again. To name a few: cut off “too-short for you” jean shorts and crochet overkill).
Although Philadelphia isn’t nearly as fun nor does it contain the summer time temperatures to even begin to compare to the Coachella festival, the fashion community here has certainly been influenced by the festival's trends. Today’s Fashionista channels her inner flower child with a set of neutral tones and a cheetah-print head wrap. In a way, the ensemble projects an exotic vibe while still looking urban and relevant for a setting like the Philadelphia.
The high waisted shorts balanced the sheer blouse perfectly while the high knee socks make the Fashionista's ensemble true to herself and original. Additionally, this Fashionista’s jewelry keeps the look fun while not being too much. Overall, this Fashionista's paints a picture of what is sure to come for a those upcoming summer festivals down at Penn's Landing.
