It’s no secret that college girls everywhere have hopped on the bralette bandwagon and I am not ashamed to include myself in that bunch. From day to night, the bralette provides Fashionistas with a stylish layering capability that no other piece of lingerie has managed to achieve thus far. These pretty lace bralettes deserve to be seen unlike your frumpy T-shirt bra that may have seen its better days. Another upside is that the bralette’s straps are a lot cuter than showing chunky bra straps. Here, I am demonstrating just how any college girl can wear a piece like this by showing an example of a daytime and nighttime look that incorporate my amazing and comfortable VS PINK bralettes.
In my daytime look, it’s all about modesty and comfort. Here, I’m wearing my bralette underneath a super low cut black T-shirt. Not only does my bralette provide coverage, it also adds a fun pop of color to the look. By layering a denim vest on top, the look takes a turn for an edgier style. My high-waisted velvet leggings are a fun change up from basic cotton ones and the zipper detail in front help them stand out too. I’ve thrown on my go-to black leather mini boots for a casual but totally cool daytime ensemble. While this look seems really put together it is also unbelievably comfortable for a day of classes or errands. This bralette is great because of the range of colors that are integrated into the pattern. Because there are pinks, purples, orange hints, white and black tones, this bralette can be worn with so many different outfits and colors. The best part about this bralette though is of course the comfort factor! No wire or clasps to poke and prod you and what girl doesn’t love that?
My nighttime look is totally different and aims for a glam vibe. When it’s time to hit the town the VS PINK bralette can be worn almost in place of a shirt when paired with a high waisted pair of pants or a skirt, like I am doing here. This has been a big trend lately and is reminiscent of vintage styles when cropped bra-like tops and high-waisted bottoms were popular. My hot pink bralette is a bright burst of color amidst my otherwise monochromatic black outfit. The little bit of skin showing between the bottom of my bralette and the top of my pleated leather skirt is sassy yet not too risqué. The sheer black button down I’ve added on top provides me with a bit more coverage but can be removed for a night full of dancing. I’ve also added a chunky black stone necklace that helps to dress up the casualness of the bralette. I threw on a cute pair of patterned tights, suede platform booties with fringe detail and my prized Chanel bag for a city-chic style that I can’t wait to wear out this weekend.
These are just two examples of how you can rock a bralette, the outfit options are absolutely endless and I can’t wait to try out my VS PINK pieces with even more fun and flirty layered looks!
