Every year when fall semester come’s around I always want to start it off with a fresh and positive attitude. With a new set of classes, new people to meet and new goals I set for myself I like to start off the year with not only a good attitude but clothing that represents my state of mind. This is my last term at school and what I have learned over the years is that comfort is definitely a key trait that I need in my life and my clothing. As I was browsing Macy’s Mystylelab I came across a plethora of comfortable, stylish and most importantly versatile pieces to purchase for the upcoming school year.
Attending Classes: When I am heading to class I like to wear pieces that have lots of pockets to hold my pencils and electronics. I also don’t want my clothing to be too tight fitting since I will most likely be sitting at a desk for several hours so these American Rag overalls were perfect to me. Paired with a Keds wide-knit sweater top to keep me warm in those air conditioning blasted lecture halls made this my new favorite outfit when attending class.
Outfit for the Library: As a senior in college I know that a lot of my time at school will be spent studying for long hours in the library. With that in mind I like to make sure that my outfit will be extremely comfortable and usually made out of cotton so I can stay cozy. Keds makes amazing clothing that is 100% cotton like this stripped maxi dress that I paired with another Keds graphic knit sweater. The neutral blue colors and relaxed material are ideal for pulling all-nighters in the library.
Campus Party: Although college is all about getting your education it’s important to have a little fun too. When attending a campus party I don’t like to look over-dressed so I usually choose to wear monochromatic colors like black and white. No matter what they will always be chic and Teen Vogue has a great selection of trendy yet stylish sportswear inspired pieces in black and white that can be mixed and matched to create your perfect party attire.
