While walking down the Royal Mile in Edinburgh I saw this Fashionista and had to run after her to take her picture. From afar, all I could see were her stripped tights and bright red skirt, but I loved her outfit straight away.
This Fashionista can really pull off these stripped black tights because of her long legs and slim figure. I like how she managed to make these tights look really casual by teaming them up with a pair of simple, black patent wedges.
The red spotted skirt is actually a simple strapped dress, but by wearing a grey knitted jumper on top it makes it look like a jumper and skirt combo. This is a great way to style this dress as this is more of a casual or day wear look, but to make it more of an evening outfit she could wear it with a black blazer and statement jewellery.
Another piece of her outfit that is really quirky and individual is her sunglasses chain. Not only is she wearing the very desirable Ray-Ban shades, but to keep them safe and make sure no fashion eyewear snatchers steal them she attached a glasses chain. Normally, glasses chains are considered to be for a much older generation; however, these glasses chains have little, black plastic horses dangling from them making them quirky, fun and youthful.
Overall, this Fashionista is working a grungy look with a quirky twist. Her granny-chic sunglasses and knit jumper give this spotted red dress a fresh autumn/winter look.
