CLASS OF 2015: Meredith

I can’t believe my college experience is over. It has been a long four years that have somehow flown by. I can still remember arriving to Pitt, nervous yet also excited for the new adventures. When entering college, I knew I wanted to study business, specifically something related to management, but I wasn’t entirely sure what type of career or specific industry I wanted to enter.

I have a lot of interests and I used college to join different clubs related to those interests so I could expand my knowledge. I’m so glad I did, and I wouldn’t trade those experiences for the world. By applying for a leadership certificate program, I was able to expand my interests in leadership and management. By joining the Fashion Business Association, eventually becoming president my senior year, and applying to be a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, I expanded my interest in fashion. My interning experiences also guided me to my future career—the event industry. It is an industry that combines all my passions and I am so excited for what the future holds.

I am so grateful to CollegeFashionista for my experience as a Style Guru. Though I was only a Style Guru for my last semester at Pitt, I had such a blast and was able to learn so much. This opportunity was incredible and I’m so glad I was able to add it to my college experience.
