It’s very bittersweet to describe the end of my college experience. When I first got dropped off at my dorm room freshman year, I would have never thought this experience would be as great as it has been. I know how lucky I am to have attended one of the best universities in the country and I am thankful for the opportunities, memories, friends and new family I have been given during these four years. As I was walking around campus earlier today, I couldn’t begin to fathom live after Villanova.
I brought CollegeFashionista to Villanova University after my freshman year and believe that it’s been a crucial part of my college experience. CollegeFashionista was still a relatively new site and it’s been so cool to watch the site grow into a successful company with some serious credibility in the fashion industry. I have also been able to see Villanova’s population grow into a more fashion-forward campus since my first CollegeFashionista season. It’s also been fun to see a tiny glimpse of the fashion industry all while being in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. I was able to experience so many different things from the luxury of my own bedroom. I don’t know if it gets much better than that.
Growing up, I’ve always been fond of fashion and playing dress up. After interning for two and a half years for CollegeFashionista, I realized there were so many different aspects of the industry I have enjoyed. With that being the case, I have decided that sales is my calling; the many different skills I have acquired from CollegeFashionista will help me with the next chapter of my professional life. I will be moving to Atlanta, Georgia to work at the AT&T Business Sales Leadership Program. I have only been to the airport, so if you have any advice/suggestions/friends, hit me up!
